How do you connect to xbox live through a cpu wirelessly on a WEP network?

i resently changed my wireless network from an open one to a secure one and i connected to xbox live through my computer and ever since then i was unable to connect to xbox live so i was just wondering if there were possibly a way for me to fix this problem

If your using the wireless adapter for the xbox there might be a setting in the network preferences on the xbox for security. Otherwise another way to have a "secure" wireless network without WEP is MAC address filtering. Simply put the MAC addresses of your computer and xbox into the router configuration and only those machines will have access to your local network.
