How do you connect wireless headphones if your TV has no jacks? Can you run it through the DVD player?

  1. This might be the excuse you're looking for to get a new TV. ;)

    The back side of a VCR or VCR/DVD combo would be a good place to pick up the sound, if it's the last thing to see the TV show before the TV gets it.  Ideally, set up the TV so it gets everything from the VCR, then feed everything else through the VCR's antenna jack and inputs. Put the TV on channel 3, If you have a cable box put the VCR on channel 3, and when it's time to watch the DVD, choose the input on the VCR. (Although copy protection might interfere with that.)


  2. The short answer is, You Don't.

    Whether wired or wireless, your TV needs an audio output jack to hook up any headphones.  And a TV is an end device.  Hooking up headphones to your DVD will allow you to hear your DVD when it's playing, but nothing else, such as a TV channel.
