I believe to have connected with 2 or 3 crystals with my own method but I'm just curious as to see if you guys have other methods to connect with a particular crystals consciousness.

  1. "consciousness of a crystal?" Wow!

Well, I have a question for you.

How does an inert object 'have' anything let alone a conscious?

They are just pieces of rock - pretty rocks yes, but nonetheless still just rock.

  2. Crystals have no consciousness.  If someone told you they do and you believed him then you've been bamboozled.  I hope he didn't take too much of your money because this is pure nonsense.  Nothing but flim-flam and magical thinking.

Crystals are just rocks.  They have no mind.  Please wake up to this fact and reconnect to reality before you get too far out there.

  3. Rocks do not have consciousness, no matter how pretty they are.  They are just atoms in a lattice formation.  You can't 'connect' with them.

  4. I believe you need to just hold it next to your forehead and talk to it. "Hey crystal, how's it going?"  And just go from there. :)

  5. Not to be harsh, but consciousness is confined to humans and possibly other apes.

  6. eri is correct. They're just rocks. No connecting with them.

    You must be very lonely.

  7. To all the others that have answered this question - Is it true that all matter vibrates at the atomic level? Even rocks?

Rocks may not vibrate at the same speed or intensity as lifeforms, but they do vibrate. It is said that only humans can have consciousness, however; it is becoming more accepted that animals feel emotions more than they have been given credit for. They feel grief, happiness, anger. They may not be able to articulate in the same manner we can, but does that mean they cannot communicate? If you are a person who is attuned to animals, you know that they can. If you are not, nothing anyone can say or do will convince you.

That said, why should we not think that a simple rock, which vibrates at the atomic level, cannot have an energy field? It may not be alive in the sense that one would define life, but could not the energy from the rock be sensed by one attuned to the energy in the universe?

    Just a thought.

  8. A crystal is formed by a structured mineral atomic make up, not any biological material. As such, it does not have a consciousness. In other words, there is nothing to connect too, sorry if someone misinformed you.

I would also point out that there are no known healing properties or any of that new age gobblety goock. However, a quartz crystal has whats known as piezo-electric properties which is quite an interesting subject if you are interested in properties of crystals.

  9. If humans have consciousness then their rational mind is incapable of understanding any kind of consciousness a thing may have. Perhaps people and crystals merely operate on different wavelengths. You can throw down the physics gauntlet but anyone who's taken a metaphysics class should know that even physics can be fundamentally dismissed as irrational with the right kind of reasoning.

Perhaps one way to start understanding the crystal's consciousness is to let go of our own. Focus on your crystal's shape, get to know it well, try and listen to what it's saying to you (it's vibrating) and then see if it can help you become one with it and everything else (the universe). This means less you, and a more universe or more nothing.

Crystals are not necessary to stifle the ego and allow the lines of our bodies and minds and everything else to blur. But they can help if you believe they can, it's all about imagination and what you subjectively choose to believe as real. I never had the will power to meditate my ego away completely... but have had this experience in dreams so I can relate to this expansive consciousness type experience without questioning it's status as "real" or "existent". Everyone follows their own way to this place, I'm glad to see that you've found a way to do this without intoxicating substances.
