How do you connet a ds to the internet?

You can only connect to the internet with either a wireless router in your home, wifi usb hub or if you were at a wifi hotspot, some places are free, some charge by the hour, do search in google to find your nearest one.

The wifi HUB is nothing special, but can be annoying to set-up as certain things become problems, a USB wifi hub costs around £25 for the official one and about £10 for a third party one, both work just aswell, so consider the latter.

[The wifi HUB is basically a USB stick that you plug into a USB port on your computer, it then basically emits a wifi signal, when you connect using a wifi device, it classes the hub as a router and connect through your PC's physical connection, ie..USB, ethernet or fibre optic.]

There are 2 things you can do once connected, if you have an online wifi compatible game, you can play against people from around the world or if you have a DS web browser you can go on the internet on the DS.

Once you get connected you will be given a Friend Code (FC) for each game you can go online with, you need an FC to play against people you know or you can with random people from around the world.
