  1. I DONT= NO NEED TO.

  2. I don't because there is no point anymore, the world is ******

  3. turn off lights when not in use

unplug all appliances when not in use

dont put the tv on sleep mode

  4. Energy Star products cost a little more, but they save you money in the long run.

    Energy Star Refrigerator

    Energy Star Dishwasher

Turn of the TV when nobody is watching it.

I turn on lights when I need them on.

CFLs (compact flourescent lights) these are the cool looking lights that replace the traditional incandescent lights that homes commonly have. These are a LOT more efficient. When standard incadescants use 90 watts, standard CFLs use 13 watts and they produce MORE lumens. So that means that CFLs use less energy, and emit brighter cool (color tone) light. These lights last longer too, so you don't have to change your light bulbs as often. CFLs are a little more expensive up front, but they end up saving you money.

  5. using a dishwasher rather than washing dishes by hand actually saves water

if you upgrade your appliances to energy star

  6. put some more clothes on and when you go to bed go to sleep to conserve even more energy

  7. mostly to save me money, but taps are never left running. I wash up just once a day (thats laziness though) turn off lights when leaving a room and recycle as much as I can!

Nothing is left on standby either, hope this helps!

  8. I turn off lights when i am not using them. I make sure the taps are always turned off. I have a sunroof on the upper floor of the house. It lets in solar energy from the sun, so i save on electricity.

  9. go on the e-on wed site they have a interactive home that identifies areas where you can save money and tell you appro how much.

  10. Unplug things when not in use. Just got new windows. Keep the heat at 62, wear a sweater instead of turnning the heat up. Use ceiling fans for the upstairs.

  11. We have converted all of our light bulbs into energy efficient light bulbs. We also unplug all appliances when we are not using them. All of our clothes are dryed by a clothes line outside in the spring, summer, and fall seasons, and in the winter we have a clothes rack that we place over our heater registers so then the clothes can dry in the winter time without the dryer. We also have a pool, which use to be a pain and costly to keep heated by a furnace or propane heater so we converted to a black pipe that is layed out on a bunch of black tin. This way our pool is heated by the suns heat and has saved us from using energy and money.

  12. i simply sit in my chair and wait for someone else to go in the kitchen then shout out to bring me a drink/food/whatever in when they come back!

  13. i do it to save money, i changed light bulbs to energy savers, use toliets that use less water, unplug things that are not used daily, turn the air up when we are not home so that way it is not cooling the furniture....stuff like that!
