I went to Lowes this morning intending to purchase a corded electric Drill.  All the electric drills in that department were on display but fastened down with at least (2) plastic tie cords to where it was impossible to get the feel of the drill in my hands. I finally gave up my attempt to look at a drill, as I was walking out of the store some department manager type person asked if there was anything she could do for me. I asked her why all the drills were secured beyond the point of actually examining the drill, she found a person who worked in that department and he reluctantly cut the tie cord on one of the drills so I could actually feel it in my hands. The drill did not fee comfortable, and I would have liked to look at others on display but, I felt uncomfortable looking further because the clerk made me feel I was really imposing on him. I asked the clerk and the manager why the drills were secured to the point that a persosn could not actually look and get the feel of the drills. He responded by saying if they diden't keep them secured with at least (2) plastic ties someone might try to steal them, because they had before. This store is located in a low crime area of St. Charles, Missouri 63301. My point is this if you really don't want to sell tools then why don't you simply close the doors and rely on e-commerce?

                  I wanted to let you know I  have decided Not!!!! to ever apply for your company again I've  been trying to work for you guys for over a year now. It seems the lack of knowledge of your HR Dept staff of not knowing a good thing when they see it, really tells me a lot about your company, I'm  qualified to run the store let alone work as a Sales Coordinator which i applied. Apparently they did not take the time to read over my resume.It's really a shame in this time in our economy big companies like you  worry more about the saving of money and big bonuses you pay out to your upper management & CEO"s rather than helping your fellow countrymen and this countries economy. It's a disgrace  for you to say in your adds you care about this country, and  saving customer money buying from your stores. I was a dedicated buyer at Lowe's for many many years and spent thousands of dollars at your store's as of NOW !!!!  I will never spend one red cent in you stores and I will pass this along to network friends and family through out the country.
    One more thing I attached a copy of my resume.  Please tell me I'm not qualified for a position

My grandson worked at Lowe's in Paragould, Arkansas, part of last year for several months.  He has not received his W-2 and he has called Lowe's several times in the past month or two and they keep saying they don't have his W-2.  That is not an acceptable answer.  They have to provide him with one so he can file his income tax return.  How can he get a copy of his W-2? It is almost April!
