How do you contact a commercial producer?

i need to contact a person who makes commercials, and they need to be on the west coast, any ideas?

Very broad question.  Depends on:  What type of commercial you are looking to make (i.e. Comedy, dialogue, visuals, storytelling, animation, graphics, celebrities, etc?)  is it National, Regional?  Is there a script or storyboard already? What's the budget?  How will the commercial be used? Those are your first questions to answer.  Then, once you know what type of execution you are after, you find the appropriate director/production company, editorial company, music company etc.  I do this for a living.

Video production companies. Try the phone book, and also the camera shops that sell equipment made for such work; ask for referrals.
