  1. there is no live person to contact. if the owner doesn't reply, more than likely that owner is MIA


  2. you could try sending an email to the owner.  At the bottom of the group you will see an email address to the group owner.  Check the graph also at the bottom if it shows no recent activity chances are you should look for another group.
