How do you contact an embassy?

I'm in an AP Human Geography class, and my teacher wants us to write to the embassy of the country we are researching. I'm researching Scotland, England, and Wales. How would I go about contacting the correct embassy? Thanks!

For Scotland, England, and Wales, there is usually one embassy which is United Kingdom.

Find the embassy (or the Consulate) in your area on the internet, find the telephone number and call them with your queries.

You can find their phone number easily using the Yellow pages.

The phone call might be very different depending on the country the embassy is representing.

For example I know (from experience) that when I call the US Embassy in France (I'm french) every single call is billed 15euros. That is even if you want to know the weather in Paris.
