How do you contact the dead through a photo?

Question

my grandma passed away from cancer when i was 7 from cancer. Now my uncle has it and I'm starting to think about her a lot. And i read that you could contact a relative that has passed away through a photo, but i don;t understand how you do it?

so if anyone knows, could you tell me!

it's called our memory....the only way or photos.
