Question:

How do you control the ball east west when you pitch?

I can control the baseball north south, but when i try to control it from left to right i get really wild!

  1. Well when you said east and west, I assume you mean inside and outside.  It is all on where you land with your foot.  If you land a little more left than you usually do the pitch will go outside on a right handed batter, vice versa.  But, little adjustments, because a big adjustment with where you land will lead to a huge change in location, so keep it small, and you'll be fine.


  2. Well I don't play baseball, I play softball. In softball to control it from left to right it all depends on your wrist placement. It's really all about your wrist. I mean if you turn your wrist to the left the ball goes left. So my advice is if you want a perfect straight pitch (left to right), try to keep your wrist straight and  in line with your arm.
