  1. Contact a qualified electrician or HVAC expert in your area. You'll need to have new wiring run to accomodate the change. I doubt it's something you'd want to undertake yourself, but I'm sure it can be done.

As a side note, gas is generally more effecient than electric for heating, stove tops, and water heaters. The cost of the switch would outweigh any gains, if you ever saw any. If you really wanted to save money, I would recommend swtiching to a tankless water heater or a dual fuel heat pump.

  2. They cant be converted but can be replaced. Not a DIY job.

  3. you can't convert any of them

You are looking at new appliances and running new wires to everything

you will need 3 240 volt breakers and have to have an electrician come over and see if you even have enough room and voltage left in the panel

  4. You buy an electric stove, and get an electrician to put a 220V outlet, a line and breaker to your junction box.

Expect to spend $200 for the electrician, $500 for the stove.

If you have a 100 Amp panel and its already full you may have to upgrade to a 200 amp and corresponding upgrade in service.  More money...

  5. first off,  the cost per BTU is higher with electric over gas.

so unless you are running solar or wind power to some of the electricity, you're still better off with gas.

a gas stove can't be converted to electric, the conversion is to go buy an electric stove. can range from $50(used on craigs list) to $5000.

    the heat is another story.
