How do you convert moles, liters, mass, molecules with one another? 10 points!!!

  1. You apparently aren't too familiar with their definitions; otherwise you wouldn't have presumed that they convert at all.   Liters as volume does not convert to any other item.   Moles = 6.02x10^23 molecules, but does not convert to mass UNLESS you know the mole wt of a substance.  


  2. only when dealing with water, assume that 1gr = 1 ml

    other wise, mass and volume don't work

    as for mass and mole, you need the molar mass (sum of all atomic masses of the elements involved)

    and then use the formula n=m/M

    where:

    n=moles

    m=mass of substance

    M=molar mass of substance

    the mole can then be converted into molecules (and vice versa) by multiplying the number of moll by the avagadro's constant: 6.02X10^23
