How do you convert mp3 to wma in Windows Media Player?

I'm absolutely clueless!! I need to convert them to put on my memory card because my phone only plays songs in the wma format.

Please answer with step by step instructions.

Windows Media will do this for you. Connect your Mp3 player, compile your song list, and select rip to device. This will convert your wav or mp3 files into a .wma. Good Luck!

You'll probably need a special program.

HOWEVER, I'd be really surprised if your phone only took wma and didn't take mp3. Everything takes mp3.

With the MP3 loaded you should be able to go to File>Save As and save it as a .wma - if you can't, you are going to need special software to convert it.
