  1. Seriously dude, if you're not having any problems at school....Don't do it....

    =)

  2. Try telling them why Home schooling is better than publick schooling.

  3. Your parents don't believe in home school? That's funny, one needs to only look at the state of our schools to know that homeschooling is the way to go. Between the growing number of s*x predators, bad influences from other kids who aren't raised right or disipliened, it's a no brainer. I don't know about other states, but where I live it is even less expensive to home school. They get tax money plus they are always asking for money for everything else.

Maybe your parents are just lazy, or think other things are more important and must do other things. Tell them this when it comes to public schools, do they believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th-graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about s*x?

  4. There is a book written just for kids like you:  The Teenage Liberation Handbook.  It includes a chapter on convincing your parents to let you homeschool.

Best of luck and be well.  :)

  5. Stay in school.  Who is going to teach you if you homeschool?  I took online college classes and they are a joke.  I tried homeschool in high school for 9 weeks too, and I was so glad to get back to high school.

  6. If your mum or dad is based at home, then it should work fine if you can do courses over the internet....if you are verrry unhappy at school and your parents wont homeschool you, then ask to move schools...you normally can't go wrong with a christian based school...so give your parents an ulitmatum perhaps of I either move to a caring christian school, or you give me a chance at supervised homeschooling.....

  7. Have you looked for any homeschooling groups in your area?  Perhaps you can get some advice from local families.  You age depends a lot on it too.  If you are older (like 16), you might be able to make the decision on your own.  You can get free legal advice too at www.HSLDA.org on the requirements of homeschooling for your state.  Maybe if you can put together an education plan that your parents agree to, they will allow you to homeschool.

  8. Well I am home schooled so I might have a few tips. I used to work up a few tears and beg and beg, also if your parents are rebpulican talk about a real demacrate point of view and tell them thats what they teach in schools of vice versa. Hope this helps!
