I want to know some reasons to convince my parents to buy a see-doo/waverunner. My parents would buy one, but they think it is unsafe and that they require a lot of maintenance. I need some reasons to convince my parents to buy one. Thanks

  1. You don't and neither does anyone else.

If you are that interested in one, consider buying it yourself.

There ARE jobs out there where you could save up the money and buy your own.

Don't ask your parents to buy you toys that will cause them to go into debt for your good time.

Secondly, they are unsafe in the wrong hands. Too many kids get on them and think the rules of the waves don't apply to them and wind up injuring themselves and others.

Maintenance issues apply on ALL types of watercraft and it can be costly even when you are not misusing the equipment. Who will be paying for maintenance and storage fees for your toy?

Again, if you want one, YOU pay for it and all associated costs. That will show your parents that you are responsible instead of just a begging little kid.

  2. get a job and buy one!

well look up the stats online. maybe only say 10 people die on them in...
