How do you cook EMO? On G4, they said they are being hunted in Mexico. Do they taste like chicken?

I am guessing you could dress them up spicy and keep them on the LO LO. What would be the hunting strategy? Do you hunt them like EMU or are they raised on farms?

Get as many as you want - they are in no danger of going extinct, unfortunately...

I am a former chef and have cooked both Emu and Ostrich, they are very lean for a bird meat, dark like a steak, high in minerals and iron, but can only be cooked up to medium  not further or they are quite tough.

The bulk of the meat come off the breast and thighs, the rest is not quite edible, we used to marinade it and grill it or medallions with a sauce, like Ostrich and Kangaroo it has very little fat, so even using bacon or pork fat for moisture is a good idea, the Mexican ones are not bad, they raise them there as they need very little land and feed is basic, just like any other bird, and the eggs are huge, 1 ostrich egg is equivelent to 12 chicken eggs, we used them a few time when I worked in Singapore for mains and desserts.
