  1. "Zander" is also known as the Pike-Perch & was origionally from France. It is considered a delicacy especially in the Dordogne area & figures heavily on local menus. I wouldn`t deep fry it but dip it in seasoned flour & pan fry it in oil & butter or poach it in a little white wine & fish stock then serve it with a sauce of your choice. Bon Appetit!


  2. if its a thicker white fish like cod cook it like cod or any other white fish, fish & chips, or sautee with butter

  3. cook it like you would haddock put some egg and little milk in a bowl mix put some flour down put the fish in the egg and then place in the flour light coating and bake it at 350 for about 20 minutes.or until done.
