How do you cope with being dependent upon an abusive person?

We don't get along at all. I try to help financially, but it's always wrong. He disrespects and repremands me for things that shouldn't be an issue. I try to avoid and ignore him as much as possible. What else can I do?

You leave.  It's hard, but it's possible, and once you're done feeling worthless, you'll feel like a million bucks.

You DON'T cope, you simply walk out the door.  The universe will honor you for it.  Help is always always available to those who are willing to help themselves.
