How do you cope with your dyslexia?

Dyslexia causes problems in reading, writing and spelling. Some dyslexics have problems with math. I am interested in knowing how those with dyslexia cope/deal with these learning problems on a daily basis.

  1. It takes a lot of patience with your self. I have dyslexia and it is a challenge. I read slower to understand what I am reading . As for writing, I tried to do the same and just re-read. I have problems with math and what I do is take four problems and solve them and I do this once a day until I finally understand and memorise how to do the formula. You have to find ways to learn, for example I do better at night, so therefore I study at night. I have become detailed when it comes to reading and writing. I try to catch myself when I make the mistake.
