How do you copy Microsoft Word onto a c.d. and then run it on another computer?

I purchased Microsoft Word for one computer and wish to copy the program and run it on a separate computer; how do I do it?

You can't. You need a multiple use license from Microsoft. Copying it to a CD or other media will not work because you will not get the necessary install files.

Not only is it illegal, but it's very difficult if not impossible.  Not only does an installation of Word strew files in many directories, but it adds a lot of information to a critical system file called the Registry.

The registry can't be copied to another machine.
