  2. Some copy protected DVDs cannot be copied without some sort of device that overrides the protection, but assuming the DVD isn't protected, here's what you do:

    Run video and audio cables OUT from the DVD player and IN to the VCR.  These will probably be composite cables (red and white for audio and yellow for video).  Then make sure your source is correctly set on your VCR (you need to tell it not to be recording from a channel, but from another input source).  There should be a button on the remote to do this.  If the VCR is connected to a TV (OUT from the VCR and IN to the TV), you will be able to watch the DVD as it records (this tells you the input (source) was set correctly).  Good luck!

  3. scart lead from dvd player into av1 in video recorder. Then hit play on dvd and record on the video, Easy as pie!. To watch what your reacording do the above but put a scart lead in tv from av2 on the video recorder. Video has input slot and output slot- in dvd out tv. hope this has helped!
