How do you copy and paste on a mac computer?

I'm use to pc's and I have a mac now. You can't left click on a mac. I don't know a simple command. Help me.

  1. yeah, the other dudes are right on with the keyboard commands.

    but just so you know, you can left click on a mac if you use a two-button mouse.

    or you can hold down the control button and click your mouse. that will bring up a left-click menu.


  2. The keyboard shortcuts are Apple+C for copy and Apple+V for paste.  Most commands for Macs and PCs are the same, just substitute the Apple key for the Ctrl key.

    Also, on a Mac, "Control+click" is the same as right-clicking.  So if you highlight what you want to copy, then hold Control and press the mouse button, you can copy and paste that way too.

    (apple button) + V = paste
