I'm instucting students on how to navigate a website before they go to a computer lab. I'll be using my laptop and a projector , but I will not have Internet access in my classroom. How do I copy selected webpages with use of the scrollbar for illustrative purposes?

  1. save as

  2. Some web pages, such as flash based pages, cannot be saved locally.  However, most pages can, though you won't need the scroll bar.  In Internet Explorer 7, press the Alt key to bring up the menu bar.  Then, click Save As.  In the Save As Type box, make sure the type is a Web Archive (.mht) file.  You can open this file in your browser later when you are off line and the entire page will be there.
