How do you create TomTom POIs (Points of Intrest)?

I'm unhappy with the POIs that come with the TomTom and would like to make my own. I found a site that tells you a little about it but not much.

Also it says that the list you make has to list the POIs Latitude and Longitude. . . How in the world am I supposed to do that?

I would actually recommend that you get more POI's through http://POIhandler.com or the program tomtom HOME ( http://tomtom.com/home ).
