How do you create a magazine on the computer?

I am doing a project and i have to create a magazine, is there some type of program like publisher that has the basic layout for me to follow?

Do you have to create a magazine and publish it online?  Or print it out?

Either way, you could find a newsletter template and do several different one's of those to make a magazine.  

The site below has free downloadable templates and the template of the week is a family newsletter.  That may help get you started!
