  1. use expression web 2 or something like that, its what you see is what you get

  2. You will have to spend money to register the url and pay for someone to host the site on their servers.

Making a site with only HTML would be a very boring site as it would only contain text and what little formating HTML offers. To truly make a site these days knowing HTML, CSS, and javascript is a minimum. To do some extra things like login/logout, learning a server-side scripting language like php and database language like SQL would be very benificial.

All the languages I named have numerous tutorials online. Just do a google search

  3. Try Easy Site Build or Sitebuilder Designs, they have everything you need in building your own website: domain name registration or domain transfer, web hosting, web builder, site maintenance and email accounts. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow step by step instruction. Some of the features included enable you to add your own themes, videos, images or mp3 music making your site unique to you. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.

I hope that I was of some help and answered your question.

  4. Recommend that you start a free website with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://tinyurl.com/officeliveoffer . Currently, MS is offering a free domain name (i.e. yourownsite.com) for the first year. It has a free online web design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. You can also upload your own website. It comes with 500mb of storage.

  5. You will require a domain I recomend godaddy.com it will cost you $9.99/yr .

Then you will require some hosting this ranges in price, GoDaddy sells hosting for $4.29/mo.

    OR

Some companys such as NamesCo will give you hosting for £4.99/mo ($8.85/mo) and this includes a FREE domain.

Once you have both domain and hosting, you have your website with no content.

To create content you need to create files called .html . You can learn HTML at many websites one prefered source is w3schools.com not only will this website start you on learning how to code HTML. Once you feel you have graduated from that, you can move onto more advanced coding.

I myself started coding at 13, useing GeoCities (now owned by Yahoo!). You can drag and drop and get used to the feel, from this I moved to a Free Host (zymic.com) this allowed me to have a subdomain and full controll over my html files. My little game website became popular so I started researching and purchased a Content Management System that did all the HTML for me!

From this, my advice is to not to worry starting small and doing what you feel is best. Dont be overwhelmed by competitors and their code, have fun with your website as thats how I learned.

Now 19 I code HTML, CSS, PHP, Visual Basic, Javascript and Much More. I learnt this by enjoying my site, and by putting fun bits from other sites on mine to learn from how they did it.

    Enjoy Your New Website!

  6. with the help of mom and mind.

  7. urrmm... first off google web hosting and find yourself a sufficient web host and price then sign up, and as for html and scripting its rather easy if u hav a program like ms frontpage or adobe dreamweaver, these allow you to create pages as you would create documents and then convert them into html, there are plenty of guides on sites such as youtube and videojug, videojus would probably be the best.

  8. I would recommend http://www.w3schools.com for tutorials (HTML and others).

  9. http://geocities.yahoo.com/ps/learn2/How...

  10. there are some applications that are used for creating websites, but i can't remember any of the names,if you want your own domain,it's gonna cost you money

  11. You can try a web host like Bluehost, who has their own set of tools that lets you create sites with templates.

It'll cost money, depending what plan you get.

  12. Hiya, first of all, you can create websites many different ways. Using WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) programs, such as Microsoft Front page, Adobe dreamweaver. Which do not require any HTML, the program does it all for you. Or you can manually code using HTML in notepad, tutorials can be found on the internet, I recommend www.lissaexplains.com

The second, to get your own url, you need to register a domain.. There are loads of companys out there that register domains, www.fasthost.co.uk, www.speedhosting.co.uk

    Hope that helps
