What creates luck so you can use to win in poker?

I have learned over the years that the more I learn about poker, facts, data, statistics, percentages, betting strategy, playing strategy and probabilities, and the more I practice and gain experience, the luckier I get.

You can't create or control luck and the only thing you can do is control skill which involves not paying attention to luck at all.  Believe me that's much easier said than done as you shall see.

I have found that in all things, not just poker, the harder I work the "luckier" I get.

Some professional players believe in "rushes." This includes the legend Doyle Brunson, who says he made most of his millions by playing his rushes. It's just a sense and a feeling you get when things are going your way and you push it for all you can get while the getting is good.

Tomorrow might be a bad day so the trick is to lose as little as possible then.

Actually there is more to it than luck, you need a bit of skill and strategy as well.  You need to learn the basics of poker and then how to out play the other players.  Practice is a big part. If you'd like more information about poker check out
