  1. This whole thing is free....................................... I have copied this whole list because you tend to have a virus and can't remove it with your current anti-virus, OR i am displaying this because you have just told me that you use Norton, AVG, Macafee, or some other virus i do not recommend. but this is what i recommend: I am going to show you one of the very few working and good and working firewall you may use, i will give you a really good anti-virus that works really well and can detect 98% off all viruses, and updates nearly 4 times a week!. I will also give you immunizations to your computer/laptop that include immunizing your computer/laptop with anti-spyware to block it before entering your laptop/computer. You will get an antispyware which also is really good. I will also give you an adviser that will show you weather the site is potentially harmful or not. and one more thing a really good ANTISPYWARE xD_______________________________ For your Anti-virus needs I TRUELY recommend getting Avast! antivirus because well i had norton, switched to avg both found no spyware and viruses, but i tried Avast (download free edition from http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-... ) (you must also register the program for FREE at: http://www.avast.com/eng/home-registrati... ) and guess what i had over 80 viruses!!!!! that is why i recommend it. now i know AVG is REALLY popular, but i can guarantee you it has a really bad virus database................................... ........................................... for your Anti-Spyware needs: you HAVE TO HAVE A REALLY GOOD ONE and that one is called: SUPERantiSpyware home edition (found at http://www.superantispyware.com ) ........................................... Now you need immunizations for future protections and a decrease in 70% chance of getting some kind of spyware. For that you may use Spyware blaster( found at: www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.... ) ................... I also promised you a SITEadviser! for that i advise Mcafeesiteadviser (this can be found at www.siteadviser.com ).......................................... And lastly i will give you a firewall. I deeply recommend using PC Tools firewall PLUS (That can be found here: http://www.pctools.com/firewall/ ).......................................... IMPORTANT NOTE: REMEMBER TO ONLY USE ONE ANTIVIRUS BUT U MAY USE AS MANY ANTISPYWARE PROGRAMS as you want. congratulations you are now equipped with the best protection you will need but getting those full versions might even get you to a better security level, but do not worry this is what i deeply recommend.

  3. You will need research lab first.

  4. You  can ask your question at scriptlance

That is a very good Programmer resource.

    Also chec out Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antivirus_s...

  5. Turning your computer on and off is like turning your car on and off. It will eventually wear out the starter. Its like a lightbulb...it will burn out faster if you turn it off and on due to the jolt of electricity that it takes to start it, but you will get a lot more time out of it if you just leave it on. The best thing I can tell you to do is get a router. That has a built in firewall closing all ports unless opened by you or a program triggers them. Besides that it will block those ports. So, that means no access. As for anti-virus, I have been running my computer at home with no firewall and no anti-virus for a very long time and I am clean of viruses and spyware. I do run Spybot S&D. That is a free way to watch and clean changes to the registry, which is where many spyware/viruses attack. Just be careful what sites you surf and what files you download.

  6. Basically Anti virus will have a huge catalogue of 'known' virus signatures (pieces of code), and when you do a scan, it will search for these known pieces of code on your system. Creating and maintaining that list is a full time job, so creating your own ant-virus protection is something you don't really want to do, you want a decent product to do it for you. As many people will say a decent free anti-virus is AVG.

As with a firewall, configuring a firewall can be a complex job, so again, you're better off getting a product to do this, Windows comes with a firewall, I believe AVG do one (not sure if you need pay for that off hand?).

If you really want to learn firewall configuration, there are courses on that, but it's not a quick 5 minute job anyone should try and do (as you really want it done right).

  7. 3 options:

    1.  Disconnect your computer from the internet and never share files with anyone else.

    2.  Take computer programming classes and write your own software.

    3. Spend 40-70 dollars for a commerical version anti-virus program.  Norton, Mcafee, BitDefender are good.  There are also a number of free antivirus programs out.  Google free antivirus for details

  8. always put system shut down..thatsall
