How do you crop and merge a video?

My friends and i made a video there are a lot of little scenes but we want to crop them and put them together so its one video. Can we do that, I don't have and don't want to buy a special program to do this. I do however has a simple movie program that came with my computer. I haven't looked at it much though...

You shold have Windows Movie Maker. Open that up and upload all of the clips off your camera and then drag them down to the timeline on the bottom half of the screen. You can even add music and titles too.
