  1. Just get on a ride and pretend it doesen't bother you and once you actually do it you will have so much fun....

  2. just do it the 1st coaster i ever rode was the Borg where you're lying down backwards through two loops

the most intense one i could find

let peer pressure take you past this phobia cuz then you'll love them!

talk to your friends while on line to take your mind off it

  3. The best thing to do is tackle them by size. When you feel comfortable with a ride that is x feet high, move on to something taller.

The next time you go to Six Flags Magic Mountains, i suggest tackling the rides in this order:

    1. Revolution. The track is hidden amongst the trees and moves with the mountain itself, so there isnt much to be afraid of. Its also not a very tall ride and moderately fast.

    2. Colossus-This is almost everything like Revolution, but with no loop and taller, and different type of coaster.

    3. Batman The Ride: This will be your transition state into riding SFMM's faster roller coasters. Batman is very fast and intense, but its the smallest roller coaster there. It will also be your transition state into riding one of about ten to eleven of SFMM's roller coasters with inversions (loops, corkscrews, etc.)

    4. Scream! This ride is pretty much exactly like Batman, just a bit taller and more inversions

    5. Riddler's Revenge. Like Scream! and Batman, but with a floor and you standup throughout the entire ride. its a little bit taller than Scream! This is now your transition into Magic Mountain's more terrifying and thrilling roller coasters.

    6. Goliath or Deja Vu. Deja Vu is a 196ft tall super boomerrang roller coaster, meaning you go up one tower looking straight down 196ft, go through 3 inversions and up a second 196ft tower looking straight up, and then you do everything again but backwards. Goliath is the tallest roller coaster there, at 235ft, with a 255ft drop. Both are tied here simply because of the mentioned above.

    7. Viper. A lot of inversions (7) in total. Think Riddler but over the should restraints, sitting down, and 188ft tall.

    8. Tatsu. The lift hill is particularly scary as  you look straight down, much like on Deja Vu. There is also the preztel loop, which you can see as you go by the waterfall and springs; it flips the train and riders onto their backs before returning them to the flying position.

    9. X2. No way to describe this ride. Intense. Scary. A h**l of a lot of fun and an incredible ride are just understatements. Ride this coaster only if you feel ready for it.

By tackling coasters by size, it really helps get over your fear of them. Start with kiddie ones even :). Also, constantly go on them, because you will get more comfortable with them.

  4. i used to be that way

untill my sister would black mail me or threaten me

just try and take it slow if its to much dont go every person has there limit so just tell that limit to your friends.

if their good friends they wont make fun of you and acknowledge your limits

but dont lie. its bad trying to be something that your not. you cant tell your friends you'll go and then chicken out at the front of the line.

i went to knotts last week and i wasnt afraid to admit to my friends that i was scared. and they just went without me and didnt make fun of me. i was shocked when they didnt tease me.

so just remember your friends cant force you to do something that you dont want to do.

  5. I'm always the exact same way. When I go to a park I've never been to, i freak out when my friends drag me on to the largest coasters in the park. This especially happens on the lift (or before a launch). While I am riding, I feel so scared, and swear to NEVER ride coasters again. But once I climb off, I feel so energized and pumped, that I do it again! My best advice is to just stay calm, and you'll be fine. I promise. Roller coasters are safer than your bathtub, your lawnmower, or even your furniture (and that is a proven fact!). Plus, if a roller coaster looks too big or too scary, you won't be FORCED to ride it anyway. But if you really want to, just follow the tips above. Oh, and don't forget to have fun!!

  6. theres really no cure for it until you get on the ride that freaks you out.  When you first see the rides they kinda look intimidating but the best thing you can do is have conversation while in line to get your mind of the ride

  7. Experts usually say that a person doesn't like rides because they fear they're not in control. Simply imagine you're in control of every twist and turn. Plus the best way to really get over a phobia is to be around the thing you are most afraid of.

  8. Start small and work your way up to bigger rides.  Screaming helps get rid of those butterflies.  Or if you feel like an dork screaming you can yell things too.  I usually yell "WILLY WONKA!" or "TELETUBBIES" cause it makes people laugh at me and also helps get rid of the butterflies in my stomach.

  9. it actually isnt that bad....its just scary when you ride it. but when its all done, you'll feel like riding it again and again
