  1. the courage to go into the unknown, and fine new experience.

  2. Suffering is the guru.

  3. blackmagus is right to talk about the Experience.

    For example :

If your wife cheat on you after 30 years of happiness... I guess you won't ever be naive again about women...

    Hope that helps.

  4. Just live in this world for awhile.  Deal with the people in it.  Unless you are mentally deficient, you will lose your naivety before too long.

  5. Study history.  The more you read about the history of different countries and civilizations, the more you learn about human nature and the patterns that societies go through.  You know the old saying: "Those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it"?  Don't be that guy.  Also listen to people older and more experienced than you when they tell you about stuff they've seen or done.  Don't ignore older people as they have a lot of wisdom and experience to impart if you'll listen.

  6. Experience.

  7. I am not sure that naivety needs to be cured, if you mean a wonderful sense of innocence.

Personally, I love that I still am naive or innocent in some ways because it increases pleasure and the delights of this world rather than always being sensible and/or cynical.

In other words, if this innocence is something akin to being childlike, I don't want to be cured ever and perhaps, you too, will change your mind about this issue.
