  1. This is a little hard to describe without illustrations, but here goes....

Get a spool of string, a pencil, and a long nail (or something similar), go out in your yard with these things and the board. Lay the board down, tie one end of the string around the pencil near the point, have a buddy hold the pencil in the middle of the board at the top edge. Then measure out 38 feet of string, tie the string to the nail (or just hold the string steady on the ground 38 feet from the board, then have your buddy draw the curve along the board, keeping the string tight.

  2. Get a string that you can anchor at one end, tie a marking pen 38 feet away, lay the board on the ground, draw the mark on the board and cut along the line.  Easy except the cut may need sanding to finish it smooth.

  3. u cant....maybe a 38 deg radious...

  4. you soak it and bend it gently!

Wow then I think you guys (and gals!) would love this idea!

    MISSION:

Locate WILD FOOD SOURCE in your city, town, area (i.e. berry bush, apple tree, fruit tree, mint, mulberry trees, figue trees, etc)

Once food source has been located report to HQ and enter data (location, food type, important info). Once information is entered it appears on the Google Maps Database to your right. Add relevant info such as how to access location (subway stations, bus routes, bike paths).

Verify food sources entered by other members; when needed, update database following procedure described above.

  5. Get a tape ruler longer than 38 feet. On a reasonably flat surface, anchor the end of the tape. Pull it out to 38 feet and lock the tape. Then lay the 2 x 6 down so that you can scribe a pencil mark in an arc by holding a pencil at the 38 foot mark. Cut on the arc line with a hand held jig saw, or if you have one, a bandsaw.
