How do you cut and paste a song on a cd?

You can't.  Once a CD is made, it is permanent.

The only way is if the CD is a CD-RW and the (music) files are not "finalized" AND you have software (like Nero) to burn CD-RWs and keep a 'session' open, etc. etc.

If you don't have a CD-RW and you want to re-mix -- just burn a new one.  That's what I do.  They are only about 5 cents each for blank CDs.  What have you got to lose???
