I graduated last year and I just found out on monday that one of the freshmen trumpet players passed away. I am devistated right now. I know im an alumni but it still hurts as if i were still a student. I just can't believe this. Should I get my band director a card or something? This is the first time we had a death in the band. Can these deaths affect alumni as much as the current students?

  2. Two of my friends who were freshmen died last year.. I think I have it worse..

  3. Not to be harsh, but deaths happen. I've had all my grandparents die, life moves on.

  4. find a replacement.
