  1. As stated earlier, be very careful

If you want your horse to stop kicking, smack him hard everytime he kicks at you (the shoulder is a good place or right on the rump)...some horses, however, will only kick at you more if you hit them, so you have to be sure not to back down if the horse keeps kicking...with every kick comes a punishment.  If you are afraid of getting hurt, carry a crop or dressage whip with you while grooming or whatnot and use that instead of your hand.

good luck and be really careful

  2. horses kick its only natural mine is a kicker/biter u just got to be more careful around them u cant really keep them from kicking if they want to they want to but if ur burshing them or something stay as close to the horse as u can remember they can kick sideways but they cant kick u if ur close or directly behind them

  3. The way I would fix the problem is to kick it back. A horse is like any other animal, it has to know who the boss is and your horse obviously thinks it is the boss. Take charge of him. Oh and the closer you are to the horse when it kicks the less it hurts, so dont walk way behind it get right up next to it.

  4. you might have scared it cause i have horses of my own. Try walking up to it slower and comfort it
