That is typical for that age. They want to be older then they really are.

Everytime she lies, take something away. TV, snacks, favorite toy, video games. she will eventually learn that when she lies she gets nothing special.

hi, if shes cheeky or does anything wrong give her a warning and if she continues you place her on a naughty chair, or naughty corner for 9 minutes and then if she moves you palce her stright back on. after 9 minutes of staying there you ask for a apology and there hug her. i still use this on my 10 year old and occasionally my 14 year old too.

my son is the same when he was this age he thinks he nos everythin and he lies just 2 try and get away with it i would say that bit is just age but the second bit abot her wantin 2 be like her mum well i would say thats the mothers falt for teachin her daughter 2 b like that talk 2 her mum and tell her what u r seein and c if that changes her mind mayb then the 9 year old will changeher attude
