Does Britain monitor such perverts well enough, to keep children safe given his high profile or should we let other countries with less friendly legal systems deal with him?

  1. I'd slice off every part of his body that had ever touched a child so he could never do it again, then i'd just let him bleed to death. I actually used to be a fan of gary glitter when i was a little girl, my dad even took me to see him in concert when i was like 4....i bet he loved me in the audience!!

I can't believe they've released him, its sick, he served less than 3 years! You'd get longer than that for an attempted bank robbery! I reckon he should be locked up for life....and when i say that i mean life, where he just rots away in prison, not this measly 25 years that we class as 'life' these days.

In fact, i remeber going to the dungeons where people used to be locked up for crimes, where they're just dumped down a hole and forgotten about, never to see the light of day again. They either go insane or die of starvation. That seems like a good justice. Or maybe they should re-open Alcatraz....hmmm. Or we could tie him to a post and let the public stone him to death, that sounds good too. I'm gonna stop now cos i'm getting carried away, but i think i hold the same oppinion as every person in the country right now! :-)

  2. Well, I've got a pair of rusty garden shears in my shed.

  3. do medical testing on these people. we could advance research by years and i doubt anyone would be that upset about it.

  4. Let him live in England, people know who he is and someone will tip off where he lives and make his life h**l

  5. Rehouse him in Downing Street.

Why should Joe Public have to put up with scum like that living next door. Let Gordon Brown have the "pleasure" of him as a neighbour. Perhaps then the government would be less willing to want him back here.

  6. This should be down to the authorities to sort out, unfortunately the Daily Mail Pitchfork Mob will probably serve out their own uneducated form of justice.

Personally I think he needs counselling, for a couple of reasons to a) try and suppress his natural sexual urges and b) deal with the mob mentality he's going to have to put up with.

  7. 12 bore should sort it.

  8. Superb Question!

I have no answer though based with-in the confines of current UK Law!

Obviously the whole Castration, Shotgun etc would be my honest reaction if it was possible!

Plus why oh why is he still getting paid royalties?

Please stop playing the perverts songs!

(Not you-Whoever it is out there that feels "Do you wanna be in my Gang? Sung by a Pedo is still worth playing!)

  9. With wisdom, as much as you can carry. I know this sounds like a new age outlook to bad things but really, I think you can only use common sense and the law to deal with the boy.

  10. Gary Glitter is OUR problem, he rose to the top of the charts through hard work and sheer talent. To see so many stupid yobs on here calling for his head are just morons. The papers have whipped up a storm as if he is some s*x offending force of nature that cannot be stopped. Pete Townsend is on the s*x offenders register too, as is Johnathon king and few bricks have hit their windows. Both performed crimes worse or on par with Glitter's.

Glitter rose from incredible, genuine poverty and was probably abused himself as a Barnardos boy. He has been allowed to roam free abroad without being forced on any treatment programmes or given any support to break his cycles of abuse. This is the biggest tragedy, that our probation service and social services failed to combat his problems.

  11. Darkened Man ...has said it all for me.....

And I was soooo riled up tooo

  12. Lead on the brain!

  13. Two bricks!!

  14. The problem is there are thousands of 'problems' like Glitter but he happens to be one of the most famous ones.  Prison doesn't 'cure' them at all and yes he should be tagged.

  15. Bullet in the brain - after the one in the balls!

  16. Britain does better than some countries to monitor paedophiles and abusers, but sadly, it's not enough. It may interest you to know that in Britain we had laws to protect animals long before we had laws to protect children. To answer your question, glitter, johnathan king and their ilk should be strung up by their bits - or locked in a room full of angry parents. (I've not used capital letters for their names as they don't warrant that courtesy in my opinion).

  17. In International law the country where you commit the crime is where you are dealt with. That is what has happened to him.

  18. I am taking my cat to the vets next week for the snip. Shall I take him along as well' It would even give me great pleasure to do it myself. Not the cat but him .I even have a nice pair of blunt rusty scissors ready for the job.

  19. There are 80,000 odd people in British jails at the moment, many of them there for minor offences such as not paying fines. We should release the minor offenders to create places for people like Paul Gadd a.k.a. "Gary Glitter" who should be locked up for life without parole as a deterrent to others.

  20. My partner and I were talking about paedophiles today. We came up with the idea of dropping the males off on a remote island called St Kilda, the females should be dropped off at another distant island and they all should be just left to rot. No shelter or food nor any tools to help them in their day to day living, just let them fend for themselves.

  21. Why not shoot the vermin?

  22. Lock him away and throw away the key.

  23. You hang draw and quarter him then throw him in to the sea where the rest of the sewerage goes.

  24. he will be watched like a hawk if  he returns to the UK but money buys

freedom i think he will find somewhere else to go for his needs

  25. Castration, and maybe bleeding to death after

  26. have a singing contest, hosted by graham norton and makee him sing a stupid song that would cause him to be voted off and "have nothing to live for"
