I had the owner come to my home yesterday to complain for a tenant he's friends with to say not to make noise after 10pm. he was kind of aggressive are there laws to protect people like me or is that the way it is? we have a manager and and office, does the owner really need to tell me these things himself, i was asked by the manager and the noise she was complaining about has ceased since she mentioned it which was almost two months ago. he just got into town and she mentioned again!

  1. He is the owner, he can respond to any complaints that are made.  he doesn't need to go through the manager HE hires or the office that he owns for all intensive purposes.  Sorry, you've got nowhere to go with this.  I would say just keep the noise down or find a new place to live.

  2. Unfortunately, you've got NOWHERE to go on this one. It's his place. He can make complaints about noise, regardless if whether or not he is sympathetic to the complainant. Period.
