  1. / Personally, I talk with God, and oft times apologize to Him and  continually thank Him for the insight that may give me a chance to learn from my past regrets, and apply that to future living.

I'm not trying to  cram religion down anyone's throat.  I am simply telling you how I deal with regrets.

Whatever way you choose, I hope you will smile on your life, and be happy for it.

  2. you don't

  3. I think about it too much.

  4. I like Kaity B's answer, great answer! So just learn from the mistake and look forward.

  5. Regrets are common.  Many people have regrets.  I regret an expensive purchase after the first two weeks because its called buyers remorse.  Doesnt really matter if I like what I have, if its new then I might have a regret of spending so much money on it.  You just have to deal with it.  Eventually they go away.  And knowing its a decision that you cant change or knowing that its in the past will help you move on to the future.  Having too many regrets can make you very dysfunctional because you'd be paralyzed by regrets and worries while having more decisions to make.

Rich people spend money like they have a constant flow of money.  Poor people worry about their spending and they are stressed over every purchase.  If you grew up poor, you might not get over this even when you are rich.  Regrets happen when you worry.  Worrying really doesnt accomplish anything.  Knowing this, people shouldnt really worry or have regrets.  Its negative and only hinders you from progress.

  6. Regret, being the feeling of guilt that comes from handling a situation poorly, i find is best dealt with by making it right with those whom i have wronged, or simply heeding my experience so that i don't make the same mistake again.  It's the best you can do at this point.

  7. I don't have many, and that is because, I learned from my mistakes...and just learned not to do the same thing again.

  8. I wish that I could honestly say that I have no regrets. I have many. A lot of that guilt eats at me right now. The most important things in my world is my husband and kids. Through mistakes that I have made (and him) it has taken its toll on our marriage. Although things are looking up. I have regrets that I let it get as bad as it did.

I think in regretting some of the choices that I have made have made me deal with things quicker. I don't let things drag out until they cannot be changed. I am not perfect and there is many regrets that I cannot change.

Having a miscarriage earlier this year. I regretted not cherishing my pregnancy. I regretted not driving when my husband asked me. I regretted suggesting the restaurant that took us on the route that we went before the accident.

I deal with it by cherishing the moments that I have and the things and have. I attempt not to repeat the same mistakes. I realize my blessings every time I look at my beautiful children and yummy husband.I try not to dwell on it and be the best wife and mom I can be everyday.

  9. Having regrets it's a waste of time.  You can't change the past but can learn from it and through life's experience you can make better choices for your future.  Everything happens for a reason even if you don't completely understand what the reason is.  Everyone may regret something in their life, but that's the beauty of it.  No one is perfect and regrets are natural just as long as it doesn't take over your life. And it's true at the time a future regret was happening, is also at a   time that you wanted it and thought it was the right choice.  Good Luck!

  10. i just remeber that i'm human and i make mistakes...just learn from them

  11. Forget it and realize it's not in my future.

  12. Focus on the present not the past or future.

  13. I don't regret anything because at one point I wanted it.

  14. Live it, Learn it, Move on

  15. I try my best to look forward.

  16. Learn from it so I won't do it again!

  17. You try to avoid them in the first place. If you have one, thats kinda 2 bad u kno? whatcha gonna do...

  18. forget  them

  19. I dont actually. I make a stew eat it and forget about it till next time.lol.

I dont believe in regrets cause at one point or another it is exactly what you wanted. If something did not turn out the way I wanted it too. I just m9ove on to something else. I am not gonna have a heart attack cause I was regretting anything.
