How do you deal with the "stupid" people? Do you have a game plan?

The managers are out 90% of the time. When they come back, they don't spend any time really catching up. They just start telling you what to do. It's bizarre. A lot of us get confused because why.

He's not much of a manager if he can't communicate with people who work for him.

He's reached his level of incompetence. Some day, he'll be working for you.

Sit back, bide your time, use your own wisdom of timing, and you'll be fine.

My suggestion is to start looking for another position within the company or at a different company.
