  1. Just ignore them.  Nothing bugs them more,  for they truly are attention seeker...

If not that,  then use sarcasm dipped in honey!  If they are as smart as they think then they will get the point...

Snobbery is kind of aloofness...touch-me-not type!

  2. Ha!...I think you and Alice are in that elite group of "mind readers" who are in cahoots with the Rockefeller's windfalls !

  3. Of course it's a sign of snobbery. I usually answer their questions and try to decide how clever I think they are. If I find them clever, I try to get them to be my contacts.

  4. it is in itself called stupidity. Ask them some questions you know they'll not know the answer to...

  5. I just go my own way and focus on what I need to focus on instead of other people and their complexes. I know that it can be terribly....terribly annoying. i usually try to avoid these type of people or even in some cases, consider that their having one of those days. try your best to develop a thick skin for people that seem to bring you down. after enough practice you can enable yourself to tune out people who aren't very mindful of how to communicate. good luck.

  7. dammit!!!  I just posted a similar question, inspired by our conversation we had some minutes ago !!  It seems we get the same inspirations! This, explains why we are so nice contacts!  heheheheheee

I believe that yes, it is a kind of snobbery.  Any discrimination is a kind of snobbery.

  8. There is more than one possibility: manipulation, they want to be your co-dependent so they can be the superior. The next possible maneuver is an attempt at behavior modification so that you do as they ask. What needs they need satisfied of your cooperation is a variable. An other possibility is the a**s syndrome, i.e. their character or personality is simply a pain in the r****m and they can not relate criticism in a creative and enlightening fashion, i.e. they are grown to only understand criticism as a necessary sadism and the pain of their abuse is good for you as a motivation to aspire to excellence. This is a very damaging idiocy and is not to be tolerated. If either of these seems to be true, it is probably best you avoid contact with them as much as possible.

  10. No, it is a sign of insecurity. They are afraid of looking or acting stupid themselves.

  11. Laugh from the bottom of your heart not at them but with them and make them laugh too if you can. That's the best way to deal with.
