  1. Watch different news channels to get an overall picture. Apart from the obvious like CNN, watch alternative sources eg BBC or Aljazeera (contrary to propaganda it's really good).

Real news is ok but poor presentation:

    http://www.channel4.com/news/watchlisten...

    http://www.youtube.com/user/AlJazeeraEng...

Your main choice simply depends on your taste, how the information is presented, how in depth the coverage is, what topics they cover etc.

Fox is the WORST news channel without a doubt, it's not even 'yellow journalism'.

WHAT FOX NEWS WOULN'T TELL US:

  2. I flip between stations, and if I can tell that one is overly biased towards one side I will change the channel until I can find one that isn't biased....let's just say I'm still searching for that perfect news channel.

  3. CNN or Clinton news network sucks and you have FOX which is better but still sucks. They all thrive on negativity and inaccurate information or one sided. Its better you go online and read statistics, reviews, and try to find non bias websites when you see hot media topics. There is nothing worse then someone watching the news the repeating that **** like its fact. Like guns in America? What a joke that is. They media makes it look like we are having full blown gun fights in our schools, parks, hospitals, colleges, in the streets, etc. Which is very not true. I'm 28 years old I own 3 guns, been in the military for 10 years using guns and I have never seen anyone shot in my life. I have met like 5 people in my life who had gun shot wound scars and they were retired military.

Airplane crashes? I worked on aircraft too for 10 years never seen one crash. Seen some damage on landings or dropped objects but never seen a ball of fire like the media tries to get up there and scare people have to death. Car crashes are far more scarier and frequent and the death toll is high every year. The media doesn't show that and people are not afraid of it but they should be.

  4. anyone except fox, they are not news, they are republican/n**i propaganda.

  5. I use the remote and flip constantly.

  6. If you're talking local news, I watch the one that's closest related to where I live (I guess that one's pretty obvious), but if you're talking the world news (CNN, Fox News etc..) I watch the channel that tends to mimic my general political views on things (although I don't think my channel is biased :)!!
