How do you decide who you invite to a party? Also, why would you invite 150 ppl to a going away party?

If it's just a party for no other reason than to have fun, then I'd invite people that I have fun with.  For me, that would be my friends, a few friends of friends, some recent acquaintances and maybe a few family members.

As for the going away party, if I don't plan on seeing those 150 people for a while and I'd like to see them before I leave, then I'd invite them to my party.  It's as simple as that.

It is quite expensive to host a party for 150. I suppose you invite people you like to be with. I personally do not like that large of a party as it is a mob scene
