How do you decrease the psi on your tank to between 200-300psi

ok i just bought a paint ball gun that needs a nitrogen tank with a psi between 200-300 but what i don't understand is that every tank has like a 800psi rating my gun has a psi regulator built into the gun but is it safe to s***w it in the gun?

the tank isnt all nitrogen some of it is oxygen 2 how much...idk
