  1. Racism is ignorance because someone doesn't want to accept others for who they are.

  2. prejudice and/or discrimination against someone soley based on their race.

  3. A belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

  4. A set of attitudes, beliefs and practices used to justify the superior treatment of one racial or ethnic group.

  5. Racism is simple. Its defined by the most basic fact. It is the way one is judged, without ever having to speak a word or have a single interaction with another. But by the mere color of your skin.

  6. Well there is true "racism" and then there is how the modern world percives it. Truly it is hating or disliking a race of people because they are that race, but it has become to mean: A white man that hates a black man.

  7. I define it as hate people by his/her color or what that person belief is.

  8. The act of hating someone based on their race.

  9. I guess racism could be described as treating someone differently (badly) because he/she may be of another race. While I've not had much experience with racism, as I'm from and living in the Caribbean, there have been times when I've experienced rather cool gestures from people who have come here from other places. It doesn't feel good, but I've learned to live with it.
