  1. if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser - go to Tools->Internet Options->Delete Browsing History

if you are using Mozilla Firefox as your browser- go to Tools->"Clear Private Data"(Ctrl+Shift+Del)

  2. if you are using something like internet explorer, go to tools, and than browsing history. Click delete history and cookies

  3. go to the tools icon, internet option, and click on delete under browsing history.

  4. Click Tools on the menu option bar, click internet options and then click delete browsing history. This would be the easier way.

If you know about the registry, you can go in there and delete just what's in the drop down list but I would not recommend that unless you know what you're doing.

  5. You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  11. In internet explorer click on the tool's icon in the top right hand corner (may be on top list on some versions of internet explorer)

When you click the item it will show some choices. the top one should be Delete browsing history. Click this and it will open another box. Click Delete History (history of websites you have visited). and they should be all gone. Some versions you may need to click tools, internet options, then click delete browing history.

In Mozilla firefox click tools, then clear private data, unclick everything except the top one"browsing history"

  12. you have to delete the history. Go to tools -->internet options -->Browsing history (under the general tab) and delete. It's that simple. ;-)
