How do you delete a letter when writing a text on a Samsung J600?

I have looked through the instruction book. but can't seem to find anything. There is no cancel button that i can see on it either!

The hang-up button (bottom right touch button) has a "c" on it tap this and it should work.

It's the touch sensitive key shaped like a telephone with a c underneath

Not got a samsung but try the c button works on my sony
