How do you delete already been to websites?

Like in the url box, you click the down button and it shows you all the websites you've been to, how do you delete a website that's on there?!!

up on top of the screen there should be one of those menu thingys called tools. then go to internet options. then click on internet options and you should see delete browsing history click on that. make sure to get rid of the cookies too

on firefox you click "tools" in the toolbar, then "clear private data"
