How do you delete emails from a blackberry but not from your email account?

My dad has hundreds of emails on his blackberry, and he'd like to get rid of them without deleting the emails from his gmail account. Can this be done?

Jaybeth is correct.  It may take a little time to do, but highlight an email and then press delete.  Just press delete from handheld, and it will remove it from your blackberry but keep it in your email account

When you delete any emails from a blackberry, it will ask you if you want to delete them from mailbox, handheld, or both. You just click the one you want. It always has that prompt come up so no worries if you are going to delete them accidentally!

you need to go to your gmail account and then save the emails if there that important..then delete them idk if it will work but its worth a try
